The JBD NMC 20S 40A BMS (model ZP20S007 / 345S) is a robust smart battery management system designed for ~74 V lithium‑ion (NMC) battery packs. Supporting 20 cells in series (20S), this BMS is ideal for medium‑power to high‑voltage applications such as electric vehicles, solar energy storage systems, UPS/backup battery packs, and DIY lithium battery projects.

Engineered with advanced circuitry and safety features, the BMS continuously monitors individual cell voltages, total pack current, and temperature, ensuring safe and stable operation. It provides multi-layer protection against critical conditions including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuits, and extreme temperatures, safeguarding both the battery and connected devices.

Integrated automatic passive balancing equalizes the voltage across all cells during charging, improving efficiency, preventing imbalance, and extending battery lifespan. With a 40A continuous current rating, this BMS is suitable for applications requiring moderate current loads, such as electric scooters, e-bikes, solar battery banks, UPS systems, and other custom lithium battery solutions.

JBD smart BMS models support UART communication and may include optional Bluetooth or CAN connectivity for real-time monitoring and configuration through apps or PC software.
