The JBD NMC 16S 50A BMS (model ZP16S011 / 17CI) is a smart and efficient battery management system designed for 60V lithium-ion (NMC) battery packs. It supports 16-series (16S) configurations, making it ideal for electric vehicles, solar energy storage systems, and medium-power lithium battery applications.
This BMS ensures safe operation by continuously monitoring individual cell voltages, pack current, and temperature. It protects the battery from critical issues such as overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent, short circuits, and overheating, helping extend battery lifespan and improve reliability.
The system includes automatic passive balancing, which equalizes cell voltages during charging. This improves overall pack efficiency and prevents cell imbalance, a common issue in multi-cell lithium batteries.
With a 50A continuous current rating, this BMS is suitable for electric scooters, e-bikes, UPS systems, solar storage, and DIY battery packs. Its robust design includes high-quality MOSFETs, low-resistance pathways, and thermal management, ensuring stable performance under load.
JBD smart BMS variants support UART communication and optional Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to monitor real-time battery parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge (SOC) through mobile apps or PC software.
